Dr. Katie Faris grew up in Wales (UK) and Namibia. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. In her first position after Vet school, Dr. Faris was a mixed-animal practitioner in Vermont in the spirit of James Herriott. Prior to moving to the Upper Valley in 2019, Dr. Faris worked at a small animal practice for 15 years in greater Boston. She has a passion for small animal medicine and surgery, and particularly enjoys working with owners to help them maximize the health and quality of life of their animal companions. Katie and her husband, Jason have four children, a seven-year-old Newfie-Golden mix named Guinness, and eleven chickens. They all love living in the Upper Valley, and all enjoy the many outdoor opportunities that the Upper Valley provides, including running, downhill and cross country skiing, hiking, and gardening.

Dr. Rodriguez is an experienced veterinarian specializing in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. A Ross University graduate, he has over a decade of leadership experience and is fluent in Spanish.

Veterinary Technician
Ava attended St. Petersburg College and has been in the veterinary field for eight years. Her love for animals first brought her to the hospital during high school, where she discovered her passion for animal care and became a veterinary technician. Now close to becoming a certified veterinary technician, she is committed to providing the best experience for both pets and their owners. In her free time, Ava enjoys being with family and friends, spending time with her animals, and going fishing.
